Paradise

Hello all,
We have spent the past 4 days in heaven on earth. Koh Tao. We are on a teeny laptop from our new German friends so I can only check in with everyone.

We've been h anging on the beach and relaxing with silk sand between our feet and tropical drinks in our hands. The highlight of the beach was snorkeling as a family. "This is the best thing Ive done in my life" says Jeremy.

We have great tales to tell but limited time tonight. Maybe tomorrw we can get online again.

We take the train up to
Bangkok tomorrow am and the hope the plane to Tokyo after a short night slee p in Bkok.

We're coming home folks and we can't wait to see you. It's been an absolutely amazing trip.

Peace and love,
theHooks

I've heard flying into Tokyo is an awesome landing experience...some tricky plane maneuvers that Rusty will love! Enjoy it .......all of it!!!! Do you get a stopover in Hawaii?? Just the airport in Honolulu has several enormous fantastic gardens to behold. Love you. MOM A.

Thailand sounds just amazing - and I'm so impressed with your whole approach of discovering what you want to do as you go along. Sounds like you've met so many interesting people - one of the great joys of travel (on top of all the great sights). Good luck in Tokyo - what an amazing change of gears that will be! Susie/x

Hey guys! What an astounding trip. I do like the image of that sand. You're not missing much here - brown grass, leaf-less trees, wind. The Read-a-thon, I'm happy to report, is up and running and doing great. Looking forward to hearing more tales when you get back!
